Victorian Dolls

In Year 4, the children have worked just as hard as Victorians in an old workhouse to produce some traditional Victorian dolls.

Working creatively, they used wooden pegs and a range of materials for their Design and Technology learning.  The children in Year 4 have successfully evaluated their designs,  thinking critically about how they could improve their designs further.

Victorian people used wooden pegs to make dolls because they didn’t have much money to spare for toys in the Victoria era!

  1. I think they look amazing , such creativity. They are all magnificent but my favourite dolls are the Tinkerbell ones so realistic and I love the hair on them.
